How booking works

  2. Hear from our team

    Someone will reach out shortly with questions or the dates that suit your group.

  3. A 20-minute call

    We walk through your days, the cabins and the numbers. Then a written quote with your cost per guest, meals included if you want them.

  4. Hold your dates

    $1,500 holds your dates. 25% of the total is due at signing, 50% at 90 days before arrival and the balance 30 days before. First-time hosts can move their dates once, to any open 2027 date, up to 120 days before arrival if ticket sales are running behind. Cancel more than 90 days out and we refund what you've paid, less 10%. Inside 90 days, payments aren't refundable.

Retreats here are three nights or longer, with the whole property to yourselves. Up to 27 guests each get their own bed. Couples, friends and family who share can take you to 54, and the rate covers the first 34. You don't need every detail settled. Tell us what you know.

27 beds across 10 cabins: one each for up to 27 guests. Above that, guests share, and we never ask strangers to. If more than 27 need their own bed, tell us and we'll look at adding twins or a smaller group.

Dates

Two choices lets us find a week that suits you.

Retreats are a 3-night minimum, or 2 nights Sunday to Thursday for groups of up to 20. Arrival from 4 PM, departure by 11 AM.

The numbers

We check the math with you so your retreat works.

For planning: the whole property is $4,000 a night at our opening rate, with a 3-night minimum, and that includes up to 34 guests. Guests 35 to 54 are $50 each per night. A 3-night retreat for up to 34 guests starts at $12,000 plus tax. Catering, shuttles and outings are extra.

Weekday small-group rate: Sunday to Thursday, up to 20 guests, 2-night minimum, $2,500 a night, same inclusions.

Founding hosts: our first three retreat hosts keep the $4,000 opening rate for 2027 and 2028 in exchange for a testimonial and photos we can share.

Every host gets a written quote with the cost per guest, a host agreement, an invoice and a certificate-of-insurance checklist.

On the property

Historic log buildings, neighbors and a family cemetery. We plan around all three.

Food

The Lodge kitchen is included. Meals aren't, but you don't have to arrange them: our catering partners can serve your meals from about $45 a person a day, or choose Supported planning and we coordinate the food for you.

Airport shuttles from Atlanta: $650 each way, 14 passengers.

Will your retreat include any of these? (tick any)

Wi-Fi in every cabin and the Chapel. Bring your own sound and screen for the Chapel, or we can arrange it.

Quiet hours are 10:30 PM to 7 AM. No fireworks, and no bonfires outside the fire pit. Alcohol is fine when the host takes responsibility for it.

Do you carry liability insurance for your events?

Every host provides a certificate of insurance naming Trembly Bald as additional insured.

Every cabin has its own parking space at the door. The hiking trail is being graded. Tell us about anyone with mobility needs and we'll assign the easiest cabins.
